How are you?

We want to share something very very special with you.

ACUSTIC CELLER history started in 2003 when we fall in love with old beautiful vineyards of MONTSANT. That year we started our dream of making Acustic (acoustic, unplugged) wines from these amazing vineyards and this unique special area of MONTSANT.

Albert Jané started this project buying 1,5 hectares of a Grenache planted in 1932 and since that time ACUSTIC CELLER has bought many old beautiful vineyards until having almost 45 hectares which are cultivated in organically.

We focused on acquiring vineyards first instead of trying to build a cellar.

In 2004 ACUSTIC CELLER started making first harvest in a small (120 metres) in the center of Els Guiamets village.

In 2010 we moved to a bigger warehouse (500 metres) in Marça.

In 2021 finally we have been able to finish our HOME, our DREAM, a 2000 metres new cellar started in late 2019 in a 10 hectares property Finca l’Hostal – Mas Esquenat. It is a cellar completely integrated in the landscape covered by land naturally isolated.

In this property FINCA L’HOSTAL we have already planted five hectares of white and red grenache and cariñena and we will finish planting until nine hectares of vineyard in total.

At the end of 2019 we started works of the new Acústic Celler winery.

Project of a modern, sustainable winery integrated into the wonderful environment of Montsant.

In the middle of this year it will be finished.

This month MiVino magazine number 259, tasting wines made from old vineyards, where is our Braó 2016 (DO Montsant).

Wines from very old vineyards (more than 60 years old) are a safe value, expression and authenticity of the land.

Braó is a very deep, intense wine made from very old vineyards of carinyena and grarnatxa from our 45 hectares we cultivate in our project Acustic Celler in DO Montsant.

Braó express all singularity and personality of very poor, stony solid and hot and dry weather conditions from Montsant area.

Braó means brave because these very old vineyards have a lot of strength and courage surviving many years in very extreme weather conditions.

The new Acústic Celler winery is a dream come true for Albert Jane, a sustainable and modern winery in DO Montsant.

The work on the new Acoustic Winery has recently begun and will be a reality by the end of this year 2020. This new building will mark a before and after the Acoustic Family Winery which has been headed by Albert Jané since 2003.

This construction will allow to defend the work of winemaker from the town of Marçà, in the Montsant. Thus, Albert Jané wants to keep alive the knowledge and the family legacy that has passed through the several generations.

In this way, then, a new project is launched, which it faces with great enthusiasm, with many harvests and desire to move on. In addition, we would like to thank all the people who make it possible and who will make quality wines that will bring the taste of Montsant to many homes.

L’Auditori 2016 (DO Montsant) won the Gold Medal of the Grenaches du Monde International Competition held in France on April 17 and 18. L’Auditori 2016 is a wine made only with Grenache from very old vineyards. We also take the opportunity to congratulate the other wineries of the DO Montsant who were also awarded in the same contest: Vinyes Domènech: Gold for ‘Bancal del Bosc 2017’ and ‘Mad for you 2016’, and Silver for ‘Furvus 2016’ Celler Masroig: Silver for ‘Les Sorts Blanc 2017’ and ‘Pinyeres Blanc 2017’ Cellars Unió: Silver for ‘Perlat Garnatxa 2017’

The Braó 2015 was present in the III edition of the Tasting of Magnums, one of the most unique events in the world of wine in our country, held in the Castle of Falset on Monday July 1.
